well, initially i thought: it (uses) produces more then it (produces) uses
i actually thought it makes sense in the idea that typically a building consumes more energy that it actually needs. or you know, uses. maybe it's stretched... 'a lot of energy' is too generic. it's way more then a lot.
That original sentence, "Dallas consumes more energy than it uses", doesnt really make any sense.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking this morning to make it simpler and just say "Dallas Peaks -uses- produces a lot of energy."
Then follow it up with small text that reads something like:
XXXX MW in fact, enough to satisfy 100% of its energy demand.
That's the equivalent of # of large turbines, or the energy used by 10 acres of suburban development, or 4x the site coverage in PV, or whatevs.
