Dallas Peaks consumes produces

more energy than it uses

  1. That original sentence, "Dallas consumes more energy than it uses", doesnt really make any sense.

I was thinking this morning to make it simpler and just say "Dallas Peaks -uses- produces a lot of energy."

Then follow it up with small text that reads something like:

XXXX MW in fact, enough to satisfy 100% of its energy demand.

That's the equivalent of # of large turbines, or the energy used by 10 acres of suburban development, or 4x the site coverage in PV, or whatevs.

  2. well, initially i thought:
it (uses) produces more then it (produces) uses

i actually thought it makes sense in the idea that typically a building consumes more energy that it actually needs. or you know, uses. maybe it's stretched...
'a lot of energy' is too generic. it's way more then a lot.

  3. oh, regarding the 100%, forget about that!

2 of the winning entries were using it, without any back up of course. so they ruined it
